This patient’s hand reveals a scabies infestation of the mite species Sarcoptes scabiei var. hominis. The scabies rash manifests itself as pimple-like eruptions, especially within the webbing between the fingers, the skin folds on the wrist, elbow or knee, the penis, breast, and shoulder blades.
