Arcade Classroom One has 24 Student workstations, each with a Macintosh and a Windows computer with access to the most of the Arcade's collection of software. The Instructor Station is also equipped with a Macintosh, Dell Windows PC, color flatbed scanner, laptop hookup, and VCR. Two Sony color projectors can display the instructor's monitors onto large screens in the front of the classroom.
Arcade Classroom Two has 24 Student workstations, using wheeled classroom desks and Dell laptops for maximum flexibility. The Instructor Station has two Dell laptops able to project onto two screens at the front of the classroom; additionally, the station houses a document camera and a VCR/DVD player. The room includes a powered laptop storage cart so that laptops can be recharged between classes; extra batteries as well as power outlets are also available if needed.
Please Note: Laptops in Classroom Two run Windows Vista and carry a limited suite of software. The Arcade can add more software applications upon request; please do so when you request the room on the Classroom Request Form.
