How to get Art Library MaterialsTo check out materials from the closed Art Library, please use the University Library’s delivery request form via InfoHawk. Please do not send requests directly to the Art Library staff. The InfoHawk delivery system tracks requests very efficiently and will help us get materials to everyone in the least amount of time possible. When you locate the item you want in the InfoHawk catalog, you’ll notice a “request delivery” button in the Availability field. (See the example below.) Click on that to initiate delivery. You can choose a pick-up library that’s most convenient for you, such as Psychology or Main. Need more info? Click here: http://www.lib.uiowa.edu/forms/deliveryrequest.html We retrieve library materials Monday through Friday. There will usually be a 24-48 hour window between the time we receive your request and the time the material is available for you to pick up. Except, requests submitted Friday--Sunday aren’t processed until Monday, so the window is longer. To make your research as easy as possible in this difficult situation, we are lifting the circ restrictions on most of the materials in the stacks that are marked “non-circulating”. Materials that are requested from Restricted Access will go to Main Library Special Collections for use in their reading room. Requests for Reference materials will be handled on a title-by-title basis. If you need articles from journals, please use the "Interlibrary Loan/Article Delivery Request System." If you have not used this system before, follow the link below for a 60-second tutorial:http://www.lib.uiowa.edu/help/tutorials/delivery/requestarticle.htm Questions? Comments? Suggestions?
