Chemical Abstracts on CD-- The leading index for chemical article searching, available with abstracts from 1977 - present.
Web of Science -- Includes Science Citation Index. Users can find current information as well as backfiles derived from nearly 8,700 of the highest impact journals in the world.
PUBCHEM -- PubChem is organized as three linked databases within the NCBI's Entrez information retrieval system. These are PubChem Substance, PubChem Compound, and PubChem BioAssay. PubChem also provides a fast chemical structure similarity search tool. Links from PubChem's chemical structure records to other Entrez databases provide information on biological properties. These include links to PubMed scientific literature and NCBI's protein 3D structure resource. Links to PubChem's bioassay database present the results of biological screening.
ENTREZ -- Entrez is a powerful federated search engine, or web portal that allows users to search a multiple of discrete health sciences databases, maintained by the National Center for Biotechnology Information with a single query string and user interface. NCBI includes the following databases: PubMed, PubChem, Genbank and many others.
Google Scholar -- Google Scholar provides a simple way to broadly search for scholarly literature. From one place, you can search across many disciplines and sources: peer-reviewed papers, theses, books, abstracts and articles, from academic publishers, professional societies, preprint repositories, universities and other scholarly organizations. Google Scholar helps you identify the most relevant research across the world of scholarly research. Google Scholar aims to sort articles the way researchers do, weighing the full text of each article, the author, the publication in which the article appears, and how often the piece has been cited in other scholarly literature

Engineering Village (Engineering Index)
OVID (Biological Abstracts, etc.)
ISI Journal Citation Reports - Provides easy access to data that helps you evaluate and compare scholarly journals having the "highest impact" in science related subject fields.
NTIS Search Site--This site allows you to search the last 10 years of the NTIS (National Technical Information Service) database, containing basic bibliographic references to 370,000 government technical reports. These publications are available directly from NTIS.
Other Indexes -- A comprehensive listing of indexes. Science and Social Science subject areas are covered.
