This growing collection offers insight into the colonial history of North America and the West Indies. It includes the National Archives collection CO 1-- papers that were presented to the Privy Council and the Board of Trade during 1574-1757. More than 7,000 hand-written documents and more than 45,000 bibliographic records give fascinating insight into British trade, history and overseas expansion between the 16th and 18th centuries. Simply Map Health Module - Trial ends October 31, 2009
The Health Module answers frequently asked questions about disease, health status, doctor visits and more. EASI has modeled the health statistics for the U.S. population based upon age, sex, and race probabilities. The probabilities are modeled against the EASI Census, current year and five year forecasts. The sources of this data is the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The 19th Century British Library Newspapers collection contains full runs of 48 newspapers specially selected by the British Library to best represent nineteenth century Britain. This new collection includes national and regional newspapers, as well as those from both established country or university towns and the new industrial powerhouses of the manufacturing Midlands, as well as Scotland, Ireland and Wales. Special attention was paid to include newspapers that helped lead particular political or social movements such as Reform, Chartism, and Home Rule. The penny papers aimed at the working and clerical classes are also present in the collection.

19th Century UK Periodicals covers the events, lives, values and themes that shaped the 19th century world. Series I on New Readerships provides access to close to 100 periodicals for the study of British life in the 19th century - from women to sports and leisure, and from children to humour. The foremost index to a finite collection of United Nations Development Programme Project Reports issued and held by UN headquarters between the years 1972-1998. The AFI Catalog, the premier, authoritative resource of American film information for the years 1893-1972, is produced by the American Film Institute (AFI). Classical Scores Library will contain 400,000 pages of the most important classical scores and manuscripts, allowing for the study and analysis of more than 8,000 scores. Content in this first release includes 800 scores (approx. 25,000 pages) of in-copyright material from Boosey and Hawkes and selected material from the University Music Editions microfilm series. 49 composers' works are included in this release, including notable 20th-century composers such as Aaron Copland, Benjamin Britten, Igor Stravinsky, Steve Reich, and Ned Rorem. This first release contains 16 full operas, 7 oratorios, over 50 string quartets, 27 symphonies, 60 concerti, and more.

Congress Collection's new Export Data feature allows users to export data on Congress members and their votes.  All data is exported according to an 'airplane ticket' format which progressively refines search delimiters, allowing researchers to build their data export based on a series of prompts and option selections. In the final data export stage, you can choose to have the data sent to your disk or email, in either text or spreadsheet format.

Literary Manuscripts is drawn from the nineteenth century holdings of the Henry W. and Albert A. Berg Collection of English and American Literature from the New York Public Library. While the holdings of the Berg extend from 1480 to the present day, its most extensive holdings date from the nineteenth century. Fifteen author collections were selected with guidance from Dr Isaac Gewirtz, curator of the collection. They were selected with reference to the importance of each authors' contribution to Victorian literature, and the strength and significance of the Berg's holdings for that author. Primary Sources in Counseling and Psychology is a searchable collection containing real transcripts of therapy and counseling sessions and first-person narratives illuminating the experience of mental illness and its treatment, as well as reference works to contextualize the primary material. New material is added on a biweekly basis and, when complete, the database will contain more than 2,000 session transcripts, 40,000 pages of first-person accounts, and 25,000 pages of secondary reference material. The database currently includes approximately 12,500 pages of material, including about 1,800 pages of reference material, 5,700 pages of personal accounts, and 4,900 pages of session transcripts.
