Digital Library Services creates and manages digital collections for the Libraries, in support of the University's teaching, research and creative activities.
DLS also offers consultation services to UI faculty, staff, and community partners in the production of digital resources that are easy to use, manage and share.
Our services and activities include:
- digitizing research and instructional materials
- converting images, text, audio and video into digital content
- designing metadata based on standards and best practices
- digitization project planning and implementation
- developing repositories for open access publications
- organizing digital collections that foster access, growth and collaboration.
