As Digital Projects Librarian for Digital Library Services in The University of Iowa Libraries, Anne Shelley plans and manages projects with a primary focus on digital collections in the fine and performing arts. Some of these projects include:

  • a 200-work collection of historical sheet music by composer Ignaz Pleyel
  • Iowa Sounds, a collection of sound recordings of works by Iowa musicians and composers, as well as oral histories, radio shows, and fieldwork significant to the state's history

An active member of the Music Library Association, Anne contributes regularly to its national and Midwest chapter newsletters. She holds a B.M. in Music from Iowa State University (2004) and a M.A. in Library and Information Science from the University of Iowa (2008). Anne's previous work at the UI includes cataloging local collections at the Rita Benton Music Library and managing websites for the School of Library and Information Science.
