Alt-Press Watch Restricted Resource - UI Access Only
Full-text database indexes over 250 alternative, radical and left periodicals, newspapers and magazines. Includes selected abstracts from research journals. (Main Library Reference Area holds vol. 1- July 1969- to present in the paper edition.)

Feminae: Medieval Women and Gender Index
An index to over 300 journal articles, book reviews, and essays in books about women, sexuality, and gender during the Middle Ages. Books written by a single author are not indexed. Time period covered is 450 C.E. to 1500 C.E. Geographic area is Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East. Subject coverage for gender and sexuality means that articles on masculinity and male homosexuality are included. Publications in English, French,German, and Spanish are currently being indexed.

GenderWatch Restricted Resource - UI Access Only
Primarily a full text database with some abstracts that contains periodicals, academic journals, newsletters, magazines, regional publications, and government reports focused on gender and women's issues.

Gerritsen Collection: Women's History Online, 1543-1945 Restricted Resource - UI Access Only
The Gerritsen Collection was begun by Aletta Jacobs Gerritsen in the late 1800s. The online resource delivers two million page images exactly as they appeared in the original printed works. It includes monographs, periodicals and pamphlets in fifteen languages, and is searchable by keyword and Boolean operators.

Periodicals Index Online Restricted Resource - UI Access Only
Electronic index to over 4,500 periodicals in the humanities and social sciences, covering each periodical from its first issue (as early as 1665) . Every article is indexed. The scope is international, including journals in English, French, German, Italian, Spanish and other languages.

Women and Social Movements in the United States, 1600-2000 Restricted Resource - UI Access Only
A set of learning modules in the form of mini-monographs, each of which is organized around a specific question about a single social movement. Each module contains fifteen to twenty documents that address the question.

Women Working: 1800-1930
Provides access to digitized books, manuscripts, and images from the collections of Harvard University Libraries and Museums on the topic of women in the U.S. economy from 1870-1930.

The Women's Library
The Women's Library is a cultural centre, housing the most extensive collection of women's history in the UK. With over 60,000 books and pamphlets, 2,500 periodical titles, 400 archive collections and 5,000 museum objects covering issues from health, sexuality and popular culture to politics, history and human rights, there is a wealth of material here and access is free for everyone.
