COLOPHON: This little book was produced for the occasion of the 1992 Conference of the Jane Austen Society of North America coordinated by the Jane Austen Society-Southwest. The conference had the theme "Jane Austen's Letters with Emphasis on Travel and the Sea" and was held Oct.16-18 in Santa Monica, CA. The text of this book was set on a computer using Garamond and Palace Script types. The computer disk information was processed by Old Mill Graphics of South Pasadena to convert the digital type to letterpress type. The book was then printed and bound in Alta Loma at Bookhaven Press, which also was responsible for the design. This edition is limited to three-hundred, numbered copies. This is no.34 . Five drawings by Paul Bohne. Blue boards with cloth spine and paper cover label, unopened. Printed at Alto Loma by Bookhaven Press.

COLOPHON: This is the first book published by the Bookhaven Press, which is a personal press belonging to the author, and all the work was done by hand. Printing was done on a 6 x 9 press using Bembo type on 50 lb. Simpson Eggshell paper. Various papers were used for the boards and endpapers. Of 250 copies printed this copy is number 237.
