The \u201cSpotlight\u201d displays, located by the Information Desk on the first floor of the Main Library, are meant to connect the Libraries to the UI cultural houses and resource center.<\/p>\n<p>To date, the \u201cSpotlight&#8221; displays have included: \u201cSpotlight: Hispanic Heritage Month,\u201d \u201cSpotlight: Honoring Native American\/First Nations Poets and Novelists,\u201d \u201cSpotlight: African Americans Making Difference,\u201d \u201cSpotlight: 70\u2019s Activism at the UI Cultural Centers,\u201d \u201cSpotlight: Films That Inspire\u201d and \u201cSpotlight: Human Experience in Popular Films and Songs,&#8221; &#8220;Spotlight: The Color of Truth,&#8221; &#8220;Spotlight: A Harvest of Knowledge,&#8221; and &#8220;Spotlight: Putting Idealism To Work.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The displays are \u201cliving displays,\u201d meaning that students can take the displayed books off the shelf and check them out. The displays are learning tools and the materials provided generate interest in the subject.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Questions?
