Annual GODORT Workshop a Success
The 16th Annual GODORT Workshop, held July
13th, 2001 at the University of Iowa’s main library was well
attended. There were lively discussions about the Federal and State Documents
Programs, and Mary Wegner, acting State Librarian, gave a State Library
report. In the afternoon attendees
got the opportunity for hands-on use of mapping websites demonstrated by Mary
McInroy of the University of Iowa Library and new census websites demonstrated
by Beth Henning of the State Data Center.
Please bring ideas and suggestions for next summer’s workshop to the GODORT breakfast at ILA or contact one of the GODORT officers.
