Introduction

SRI refers to both the microfiche set and the finding aid.

This is a selective guide to American statistical publications from private organizations and state governments. Covers statistical information published by more than two thousand state government agencies, national associations with annual budgets of more than $1 million, and more than a thousand other organizations. Organizations include: trade, professional, and other nonprofit associations and institutes; commercial publishers of trade publications; independent research organizations including public policy, education, demographic, and economic research organizations; state government agencies and universities and affiliated research centers.
