GOVDOC-Iowa is a forum for discussion of issues surrounding provision of government information in all formats, on both the federal and state levels, not just depository issues and is open to any one interested in government information.
Iowa State Plan for Federal Depository Libraries, revised in March 2003, was approved unanimously by each library in Iowa participating in the FDLP. The list of signatories and approval letters are held with the Regional Librarian at The University of Iowa Libraries. The purpose of the Plan is to provide documentation of 'best practices' that comply with rules of FDLP participation (see Title 44 USC Chapter 19).
