IntroductionFounded in 1957 to serve as an interagency clearinghouse for U.S. agencies needing translations, JPRS is the largest source of English translations in the world. Translations are of non-English newspapers, speeches, journals, scientific and technical reports, and some broadcasts from foreign countries.
