Aerobic bacteria, Staphylococcus aureus, cultured on an agar plate for drug sensitivity test in an anaerobic environment. The toxin produced by Staphylococcus aureus causes the illness "staphylococcal intoxication". Symptoms of this intoxication include nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea.
