This patient presented with a case of alopecia during the secondary stage of syphilis.

Second-stage symptoms can include fever, swollen lymph glands, sore throat, patchy hair loss, headaches, weight loss, muscle aches, and tiredness. The disease can easily be passed to sex partners during the primary or secondary stages.
