Information Commons, 2nd floor
There are 37 PC and 8 iMac open access machines
in the Information Commons East & West. The 50 PCs in
the two classrooms are also available for use when classes
aren't in session.
Each machine is loaded with Internet Explorer,
Microsoft Office, Easy CD Creator, Dreamweaver and much
more.
Printing costs 5 cents a page for black &
white printing and fifty cents per page for color laser
printing charged to your U-Bill. Cash is not accepted. There
is a $1.00 minimum charge. Persons not affiliated with the
University of Iowa will be billed through the University
Business Office.

The machines on the 3rd (main) floor of the
library are available for database searching.

Workstations
Information Commons East, 2nd floor
Four multimedia workstations are available
in the Information Commons East. The setup includes a pair
of color flatbed scanners, a slide scanner, several digital
cameras, a laserdisc player, video digitizing hardware,
a small QTVR object rig, and many software tools. Contact
the Information Commons for more information.
