for the Health Sciences The Hardin Library for the Health Sciences is located on Newton Road, directly north of the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics and approximately 1/2 mile east of Carver-Hawkeye Arena. |

Short-term metered parking is available in Lot 30 on the north side of the library. Visitors may also use the Newton Road Ramp, to the northeast of the library (discounts available after 9:00 AM). Additional parking may be found in the parking ramps at the University Hospitals and the visitors lot at the College of Dentistry.

Cambus
These yellow buses serve the University and downtown areas of
Iowa City. The "Red Route", the "Blue Route",
and the "Pentacrest Route" will stop at the Hardin Library.

From outside the Iowa City/Coralville area:
From Des Moines
Take I-80 east to Iowa City; take exit 242. Follow First Avenue
to Highway 6. Take a left on Highway 6 and an immediate right
onto Hawkins Drive. Take a left on Elliot Dr. (in front of Carver
Hawkeye Arena) and a right on Newton Road. Follow Newton Road
approximately 1/2 mile to the Hardin Library.
From Burlington
Take Highway 34 west to Mount Pleasant. Follow 218 north to Iowa
City. Continue on Riverside Drive. Take a left on Newton Road.
Follow Newton Road approximately 1/2 mile to the Hardin Library.
From Muscatine
Take Highway 22 west; follow to Highway 70. Take Highway 70 north
to Highway 6. Follow Highway 6 into Iowa City; turn right onto
Riverside Drive. Take a left on Newton Road. Follow Newton Road
approximately 1/2 mile to the Hardin Library.
From the Quad Cities
Take I-80 west to Iowa City; take exit 242. Follow First Avenue
to Highway 6. Take a left on Highway 6 and an immediate right

From Cedar Rapids
Take I-380 or U.S. 965 south to I-80. Take
I-80 east to Iowa City; take exit 242. Follow First Avenue to

Arena) and a right on Newton Road. Follow Newton Road approximately
