The Hardin Information Commons (or Info Commons) occupies the second floor of the Hardin Library for the Health Sciences. It consists of the Information Commons East and Information Commons West, which contain the following:
Information Commons East
Student-staffed desk (319-335-6943) providing laptop checkout, PDA help, and help setting up UI Wireless.
Hardin Simulation Center.
Information Commons Classroom East.
Classroom East can accommodate 50 students, with access to 25 workstations running Windows Vista. The instructor's station features computer and video projection, a stereo system, and can accommodate an instructor laptop. (reservations/calendar)
Information Commons West
Quiet computing ITC.
Group study room 207C.
Hardin Library's Problem-Based Learning / Case-Based Learning Conference Room seats 12 comfortably and can be equipped with an LCD projector to connect to your laptop. (reservations/calendar)
Information Commons Classroom West.
Classroom West can accommodate 50 students, with access to 25 workstations running Windows Vista and Linux. The instructor's station features computer and video projection, and a stereo system. Classroom West desks can be arrangend into pods for group collaboration. (reservations/calendar)
