Athletes Foot

 

This patient presented with ringworm or Tinea pedis of the toes, which is also known as athlete's foot. Tinea pedis is a fungal infection of the feet, principally involving the toe webs and soles. Athlete's foot can be caused by the fungi Epidermophyton floccosum, or by numerous members of the Trichophyton genus.
