A conjunctival hemorrhage of the right eye of this patient with infectious mononucleosis.

At times non-infectious conjunctivitis, as well as other corneal abnormalities may manifest themselves due to the body’s systemic response to viral infections such as infectious mononucleosis, or Epstein-Barr Virus.
