Case 3: Clinical

Patient was a 67 year old man who was a recovering alcoholic. An asymptomatic lesion on tongue was discovered during routine oral examination.
Clinical findings: Non-painful erythematous area on mucosa of right ventral tongue.
Differential diagnosis: Erythroplasia, squamous cell carcinoma
Biopsy: Incisional biopsy
