The List of Indexed Journals is no longer being updated. For current journal information, please use the Electronic Journals list and the InfoHawk Catalog . For journal abbreviations, use PubMed's Journals Database.
For over two decades the Hardin Serials List (aka List of Indexed Journals) has been the mainstay that has allowed us to quickly and accurately find information on our journal collections and holdings. The Hardin Library for the Health Sciences was the first in the country to import information from the National Library of Medicine and place it into a database to generate a list of local holdings. Because of the complexity of keeping it current it is not possible to keep it accurately maintained and it will not be possible to maintain it in the future. Under Linda Roth's leadership, the list has been maintained, updated, refined, printed, and distributed to hundreds of departments throughout the health campus. The decision to stop updating the list is not a step that we are taking lightly. We are investigating replacement options, and hope that we'll be able to identify a product that either works with InfoLink or complements what InfoLink does. We hope to find a solution that will provide all of the University Libraries - Hardin Library, the Main Library, the branch libraries - with a tool that provides information similar to that in the journals list, but that can also be readily maintained.
