3rd Floor - Circulation / Reserve Desk

Come to the Circulation / Reserve Desk to check-out materials. Anyone with a valid University of Iowa identification card may borrow materials from any of the University's libraries.

Journals can be checked out anytime during the day and are due back by 9:30am the following day. The "green dot" or display journals located on the current journal display shelves circulate for 2 hours only. There are no renewals or extended loans on journals.

Book loan periods differ depending on status but every user has a minimum 2 week loan period. Materials can be renewed over the phone or online.

All library books (except books placed on reserve) may be recalled after a 2 week loan period. A notice will be sent to the borrower's address. A 5 day period is allowed for the return of the book without penalty.

Laptops are available for a 1 day loan.
