BUSHNELL-HAMLIN, ELLA. Papers, 1912-1985 (bulk 1912-1930). 7 items. Early suffragist and owner of Trident Publishing Company in Davenport , Iowa .

CARTER, LUCILLE KETCHUM. Carter recounts her mother’s thoughts on voting shortly after women’s suffrage was enacted.

COSSON, JENNIFER RIGGS (18xx-1943).  Papers, 1890-1943, 10 linear inches.  Active in politics and community groups and a known suffragist.

HUNTER, MARY ANKENY. (1870-19xx) Autobiographical sketch. Secretary, vice-president, and then president of the Iowa Suffrage Memorial Commission in the 1920s and 1930s. Hunter was also an activist for world peace, a prohibitionist, and worked for the Red Cross during World War I.

IOWA SUFFRAGE MEMORIAL COMMISSION.  Records, 1910-1941.  2 linear inches.  Commemorated the efforts of pioneer suffragists and the enfranchisement of women.

NOUN, LOUISE (1908-2002 ). Papers, 1926, 1970-1999. 3.6 linear feet and audiovisual material. Des Moines , Iowa social activist, art collector, author, and co-founder of the Louise Noun-Mary Louise Smith Iowa Women's Archives.

PROFESSIONAL WOMEN'S LEAGUE (DES MOINES, IOWA). Records, 1903-1998. 2.2 linear feet. Women's club founded in Des Moines in January 1900.

PROTEUS CLUB (DES MOINES, IOWA). Records, 1897-1996. 2.5 linear feet. Women's study club organized in 1896 by college graduates for their intellectual improvement.  Includes skit entitled “The Militant Husbandette.”

ROBINSON FAMILY. Papers, 1850s-1985. 4 linear inches. Diaries, scrapbook and genealogical information regarding Dubuque-area family.

TAYLOR, GENEVIEVE. (1916-1997). Papers, 1916-1997. 1 linear inch. The materials include a school paper on equal suffrage written by Dorothy Mills in 1916.
