The Louise Noun - Mary Louise Smith Iowa Women's Archives is a self-supporting unit that does not receive state or University funds. Its operations are funded by an endowment and gifts from individual donors. These funds pay the salaries of the two permanent staff members and of our graduate assistants and student hourly employees, as well as for supplies and expenses associated with publicizing the archives around the state and acquiring collections.
