Effective June 2009, the following changes have occurred: Music Library Circulation, course reserves, current periodicals, media (excluding LPs) and RBML staff are now located in Room 2006, Main Library. The Music Librarian's office is now in room 5033, Main Library, along with RBML Rare Books, microfilm and LPs.  These changes should remain in place until the School of Music's new building is completed and ready for occupancy.

Library Closures

May 14, 2010: The Physics and Geosciences Libraries are closed. Materials from the libraries have been moved to the Sciences Library (formerly the Biological Sciences Library) on Iowa Avenue. The lesser used and electronically available materials have been moved to the Annex. The map cases from the Geoscience Library will be moved to the Main Library lower level. Leo Clougherty, head of the Sciences Library, will have an office in the Sciences Library. Kari Kozak, Sciences Librarian will maintain an office in Van Allen  Hall as the liasion with the department of physics and astronomy. The Chemistry Library permanently closed on July 27, 2007.

Curriculum Resources Laboratory
The Curriculum Resources Laboratory has closed and the online catalog is no longer available.
University of Iowa Libraries staff have reviewed the Curriculum Resources Laboratory holdings and selected some items to be incorporated into the University Libraries online catalog, InfoHawk.
