My Personal Librarian:
Kelly McElroy
Originally from Portland, Kelly has lived all along the West Coast from Vancouver down to Los Angeles, but the Midwest is a new adventure. As the Undergraduate Services Librarian, her job is to connect UI undergrads with library resources and programming. Back when she was a first-year in college, her favorite class was Italian 100, though a freshman seminar about LA Architecture was a close second. She ended up double-majoring in Italian and Anthropology before going to graduate school in Library and Archival Studies.
Beyond the library, she likes to bake bread, play bocce, and go to garage sales. She reads a lot of graphic novels and is always looking for new penpals.
Kelly is also the personal librarian for the Explore Dream Discover Experience and the ROTC Living Learning Communities.
