My Personal Librarian:
Brett is a librarian who likes local food, bicycles, and his wife and two young kids. At the library he teaches classes for students of political science, urban planning and international studies. He also oversees the United Nations, European Union, and State of Iowa collections.
By night he tools around in his garden, trying to make a good tomato and tall sunflowers. He grew up in Baltimore and attended a public college in southern Maryland. Brett landed in Iowa by way of Denali Park Alaska where he worked the front desk at a hotel and enjoyed awesome hikes on his weekends. While in Alaska he met some very nice people from Iowa who lured him to Iowa City for grad school.
