My Personal Librarian:
From 2006 to 2011 Stephen Sturgeon edited the literary magazine Fulcrum: an Annual of Poetry and Aesthetics, and in 2011 a collection of his poems, Trees of the Twentieth Century, was published by Dark Sky Books. He has taught composition at Boston University, slouched through London, Lviv, Paris, and Vienna for years combined, and is currently the English and American Literature Librarian at the University of Iowa. In addition to his degree in Library Science, he has a MA in British Renaissance Literature and a PhD in Scholarly Editing. If you want to talk about writing and publishing, compare notes on used bookstores, or get research help (no matter how hopeless it seems), don’t hesitate to be in touch.
Stephen is also the personal librarian for the Popular Literature Living Learning Community.
