Lists are due at least 4 weeks before the opening of the term. Lists received less than 4 weeks before the first day of classes may not be ready for the beginning of classes.
Instructors are responsible for determining whether their use of copyrighted materials falls under Fair Use. Submission of reserve requests indicates acceptance of responsibility for copyright compliance
Lists are processed in the order received.
List books first, alphabetically by author, then articles alphabetically by journal title.
Library Owned Books. Include UI call number , author, and title, and edition. Indicate 2-hour or 3-day loan period.
Books Not Owned by the Library. We will rush order books that the library does not own if you include publisher, date, and place of publication.
Personal Copies of Books. List author and title of book. Please drop off at least two weeks prior to beginning of classes.
Photocopies of Articles. Please provide a clean 8 1/2 x 11" copy of the article.
Articles from journals : Include title of journal, author and title of the article, and volume, number, month, year, and inclusive pages.
Chapter/Section from a book: Include title of book, author and title of the particular chapter or section, and the inclusive pages.
Personal Reading Packet. If you provide the materials , articles and uncopyrighted material may be placed on reserve in a reading packet.
Other related material include: Tests, Undergraduate Honor Thesis, Permanent Reference Reserve and Audio Visual Material.
