Zine Machine

Zine MachineThe Zine Machine is a collaborative project between the University of Iowa Libraries (http://www.lib.uiowa.edu/), students at the University of Iowa, and zinesters all over the world.

Jessica C. White has been the keeper of the zinemachine for a number of years (http://thezinemachine.blogspot.com/) but she has recently relocated to warmer climates and entrusted the Zinemachine project to the Art Education Department at the University of Iowa (http://www.uiowa.edu/~artlearn/). We distribute zines, mini comics, and small artists books created by University of Iowa students. We accept zines, mini-comics, and small artist's books for submission and distribution and donate the proceeds to various charities and organizations in the state that support the arts, free expression, and social causes. Zines up to 5 ½ x 8 ½ can be accommodated.

Your submission may be featured on our website and will be archived in the University of Iowa's Zine Collection in Special Collections.

If you would like to send us a submission please send the following:

2-5 copies of your zine, mini comic or artist's book
Your name and address so we can send you a confirmation letter and the distribution price of your zine. (1$-10$)

Currently we are looking for submissions to raise money for the Iowa Women's Music Fesitval, and the Arts and Writing Program at the Iowa Correctional Institution for Women.
