Printed on Antique Gray Text Classic Linen. Binding is a jet black full leather with title and decoration in gilt on front cover and spine. Endpapers are grayish-black elephant hide paper. Frontispiece is a color photograph taken by Helen M. Hanson in July of 1983 of Msgr. Weber, Small Pax Weber (his dog), and two bookcases full of miniature books in the background. B20th 7/1306.

Frontispiece photo by Jimmy Costello. Copy #63. Signed by author and publisher. Printed on Monterey Sand Classic Linen. The frontispiece is an unpublished black and white photograph, tipped-in , of John Steinbeck. Also, a tipped-in reproduction of Steinbeck’s “Pigasus”-his spoof of the Greek flying horse. Bound in yellow cloth over boards with gilt title and decoration on the front cover. Gold and yelllow marbled endsheets. B20th 8/999.

Type is Garth Graphic, 8 point. Frontispiece photograph is by Helen M. Hanson, June, 1982. Signed by Robert Hanson and dated 3/11/85. Frontispiece is a colored photograph of Steinbeck’s home. Bound in tan self-wrappers and tied together with beige linen thread. Title and author printed in black on the front cover. B20th 9/1307.

Weber, Francis J. Value Versus Worth. Bradenton, FL: Opuscula Press, 1985. 27 pp. 2 ¼” x 1 3/4″. Colophon: Only 150 copies of this minim have seen the light of day. Type face is Colonial, 7 point. Paper is rag content, cockle finish and the whole has been executed during the hot and humid months of June and July, 1985. Signed ‘For Charlotte and Tom Smith, B. Hanson, 9/2/85.’ 27 pages in light green wrappers. Edition of 150 copies signed by Hanson. B20th 10/3170.

Stevenson, Robert Louis. A Christmas Sermon and Prayers Written at Vailma. Bradenton, FL: Opuscula Press, 1985. 2 vols. 94 pp. 2 3/4″ x 2 1/4″. Colophon: During the Spring of 1985, an edition of one-hundred seventy-five copies of this miniature book was reprinted, in 8 point Oracle, from R.L.S.’s A Christmas Sermon, 1910. Twenty-six copies were lettered, handbound in quarter leather and decorative paper over boards, and offered in a set – slipcased- together with Stevenson’s Prayers Written at Vailima. The remaining one-hundred forty-nine were bound in cloth and decorative paper over boards. Copy C. Printed on Gilbert Bond Cockle #24, 25% rag. Hand bound by Marsha Hollingsworth in Post Townsend, Washington. Sewed onto Dutach linen tapes with silk thread. Quarter bound in Niger goatskin, red. Cover paper is Italian Roma from the Fabriano Mill, 100% rag with a subtle laid pattern. Slipcase lined with Mohawk Superfine acid-free paper and then covered in blue Canson French paper, 66% rag, and pH neutral. Two different photos of RLS serving as frontispieces were taken from Robert Louis Stevenson in California, by Katherine D. Osbourne, 1911. Endpapers are decoarative floral red and white wallpaper. Weber, Francis J. FDR’s Little Books. Bradenton, FL: Opuscula Press, 1991. 28 pp. 2 7/8″ x 2 1/4″. Colophon: Only 150 copies have been published in this edition. Completed in the warm and waning days of September, 1991. Text type face is Goudy Oldstyle Bold, and the type size is 8 point. Title page is Windsor Bold, and type size is 12 point and 10 point. Robert F. Hanson is the editor and publisher. Frontispiece is 20 cent 1982 stamp of Roosevelt. Bound in light grey cloth over boards. Title gilt-stamped on front cover and spine. B20th 12/3102.
