Shakespeare, William. The Plays. London, William Pickering (Pickering Diamond Classics), 1825. 3 5/8″ x 2 1/8″. Printed in the tiny 4 1.2 point Diamond type by Corrall. One of the most famous of all the miniature sets of Shakespeare. Wine cloth bindings. Spines faded to brown. Includes owners signature. Nine volume set. Welsh 6309.

Terentius, Afer Publius. [Opera] Londini: Pickering, 1823. 220pp. 3-1/2″ x 2-1/8″. Contains two title pages, one is dated 1823 and the other is dated 1822. A full page portrait of Terentius is used as frontispiece. Two copies: Second copy is bound by Riviere & Son in red polished calf with five raised bands on the spine. Marbled endpapers with a gilt designed border on the side that attaches to the covers.Welsh 6665, 6666–since there are 2 title pages, not sure which.

Virgilius Maro, Publius. Opera. Londini, Gul. Pickering, 1821. 283p. 3 1/4″ x 2″. One copy in black leather, one in maroon leather. This book is very rare due to a fire at Corralls’ printing works in which all but 100 copies were consumed after the sterios had been destroyed.Welsh 6974.
