Colphon: This book was designed and printed at the Chamberlain Press
in Easthampton, Mass. in March 1977. The type is Goudy, the paper is
Kitakata, & the illustrations are wood engravings. The binding is
by E.G. Parrot. Of 150, this is number XIX, signed by Sarah
Chamberlain.
Marbled endpapers. Bound in full green leather with the title on the
front cover and spine stamped in gold, along with decorations on
front and back covers. Contains an extra set of illustrations signed
by the artist in an envelope that matches the endpapers affixed to

Colphon: This book was printed at the Chamberlain Press & Bound
by Sallie Ruff. The paper is Troya & the type is Cancelleresca.
Of an edition of 125 this is number 23.
Signed by J. Chamberlain. Sally Ruff was unable to complete the
binding, but Allan Carpenter of the Green Dragon Bindery was able to
complete it. This is #23 of 35 deluxe copies bound in silk with
vellum spine. An extra suite of signed engravings accompany the book
and are laid into a folding box. B20th 5/666

All letters are water colored with delightful naturatl objects. Bound
in full blue morocco with raised bands on spine at the Green Dragon
Bindery. Delicate hand-embroidered bookmarks in yellow, blue, and

Colphon: Printed at the Ashendene Press, Shelley House, ___ Sea, by
St. John and Cicely Horsby for the library of Queen Mary's Doll's
House in this merrie month of may of the year MCMXXIII.
Edition of 150 copies. Bound in full morocco with gilt-ruled borders
on the covers, raised bands on the spine, and all edges gilt. Binding
by David Bourbeau of the Thistle Bindery and is housed in an elegant
quarter-leather tray case. The text includes an introduction by
Michael Hornby, son of the Ashendene's propietor, explaining the
history of the book. Also brief notes by printer and published.
Printed on the plates of the Horace commissioned for Queen Mary's
Doll's House in May 1923. Fewer than ten copies of the book were
printed at that time. This edition was printed by Linnea Gentry of
Amaranch Press on the original Ashendene Albion handpress housed at
the Bridwell Library of Southern Methodist University in Dallas.
