Colophon: This is the first miniature book to be issued by The Flying
Coffin Press and it is dedicated to those two fine gentlemen, James
Lamar Weygand & J. Hill Hamon, who both encouraged me to attempt
the miniature format. (-Dick Fleming). All of the type used to print
this book was set by hand, piece by piece, in a composing stick. Type
set for the title page is 14 pt. Announcement Roman. The typeface for
this, and three other pages, is 10 pt. Baskerville Italic. Type set
to print the poem is 10 pt. Baskerville Roman. Printed at the sign of
The Flying Coffin in Caulfield, Missouri during the month of April
1981 by Dick Fleming in a limited edition of 40 copies. This is copy
number 33, signed by Dick Fleming. This poem is to commemorate the
wedding of Michelle Shawn Fleming (Dick's eldest of four daughters) & Samuel Ernest
Vandiver III who were married at Santa Barbara, California on
Saturday, March 28, 1981.
Bound in black fabricoid with a red spine. Title stamped in yellow on
the front cover. A Stanley Marcus bookplate is affixed to the inside
front cover. B20th 1.
