This is copy number 61 of a limited edition of one hundred and fifty produced in its entirety by Mildred and Lester Lloyd at their Red Squirrel Press, Lafayette, Cal, MDCCCCLXXVII.
Signed by Les Lloyd. Introduction, text, and printer's note. The address is printed from American Type Founders Corporation Century Expanded, 4 pt. on a 4 pt. body. This is the smallest production type ever made by ATF. ATF cast experiment. Only enough type was on hand to compose one page at a time and therefore printed one page at a time. The preliminaries and note are printed from Monotype Lightline Gothic #1 size. The type was cast on a 30 pica measure of the book. In order to achieve the necessary close fitting on the page, the pages were printed with every other line and then on a second impression the alternate lines were printed. Initials and page numbers are printed in red. In order to handle the paper during printing, the pages were printed in the middle of a sheet, 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", and then trimmed to final size for binding. B20th 2.
