End paper: Torinoko dyeing with powder of mica. Text: Printed on Torinoko dyeing with powder of clam with colotype and colored with silk screen printing process. Folding case: Stiff boards covered with a sort of pure silk named Ohahima Taumugi, Tenpyo style dyeing with woodcut and wax. With a genuine ivory peg to close. First miniature book of Lilliput Miniature Book Oval Saloon. Writeen by Murasaki Shikibu-one of Japan's earliest and famous female writers who lived in the 10th century.
