Colophon: The papermaking research was undertaken from 11th till 26th
in April, 1977. The papers were collected then. Writing, setting
type, printing and binding by Asao Shimura at Bunseido, Tokyo, Japan.
The type is mainly copperplate style, century old italic are parly
used for the foreign languages. The type size in 6 points. The
edition consists of 256 numbered copies of which a limited number is
printed by the author. No. 244.
Gp series I. Printed and bound on rice paper. 13 leaves numbered in
Spanish. Page of footnotes, map of Korea, 5 pages of paper samples
plus colophon. In wooden box with second miniature book of the same
size printed completely in Japanese with the exception of some Arabic
numerals scattered throughout. Mr Shimura tells me that the second
book is about Korean Handmade Papers, published on June 26, 1977. It
was translated from the Korean Book, 1973, Seoul.

Colophon: Asao made Marumi's gampi paper 8. Tsuneo Naito, b 1948,
makes 7 mitsumata and 6 gampi papers. He uses synthetic tororo-aoi.
Yasuichi Kubota, b 1924, makes 4 Sekishu-hanshi. Yukio Hamaada, b
1931, makes 2 tegujo. Printed on Naito's paper 7. The type is centry
bold and italic. This limited edition consists of 128 copies which
were stamped by Asao. No. 115. The first edition. C. 1977.

Colophon: Tim Barrett made real amate paper (thin). Juan Manuel de la
Rosa is a Mexican printmaker and papermaker, b. 1945. Printed on kozo
paper (paper mulberry). The type is centry bold and italic. These 256
numbered copies were stamped by Asao. No. 38. The first edition. C.

Colophon: Formerly with the Fogg Art Museum, Mass., Louise Cort now
lives in Kyoto. She is an authority on Japanese art and craft and
recently completed a book on Shigaraki pottery. The indigo color
samples by Asao Shimura. Printed on Philippine gampi (sarago) paper.
Th type is centry bold and italic and 6 pt. These 256 numbered copies

Before the congress he visited the two French mills. The type is
Baskerville in 6 and 12 points from Mackenzie-Harris Inc. Printed on
mitsumata paper. These 200 copies were stamped by the author. No.
159.
Contains an illustration of an old French mill and eight specimens of
paper.

Colophon: Elaine Koretsky traveled in Nepal and India in
January-February, 1978. She has also spent time in Japan, Taiwan,
Hong Kong, Phillippines, Morocco, Kenya, and Egypt, involved in
papermaking research, particularly in the field of fibers and natural
dyes. These 200 copies were stamped by the publisher. No. 159.

Colophon: Dr. Hassan Ragab was the first Egyptian ambassador of the
People's Republic of China. He has been engaged in researching
papyrus since 1968, after he retired the diplomat. Printed on
Japanese mitsumata paper. The type is Baskerville in 6 and 12 points
from Mackenzie-Harris Inc., San Francisco. These numbered 200 copies
were stamped by the publisher. No. 174.

Cairo in 1968. With samples of papyrus and pulped papyrus made at the
