Marion Meade spent several years researching and accumulating materials about screen star and director Buster Keaton for her biography Buster Keaton, Cut to the Chase (New York: HarperCollins, 1995). Iowa has acquired this archive, about 15 linear feet, which includes Ms. Meade's research files, her correspondence with a great range of people who knew or worked with Keaton, and her tape-recorded interviews with more than 75 relatives and co-workers.

While not yet inventoried, the collection is available for use.
