Detailed Schedule

is the theme for the 1997 Midwest Chapter/MLA annual Meeting. The conference will be held at the Savery Hotel and Spa in Des Moines, September 27-30. Now is the time to mark your calendar for what promises to be an exciting and thought-provoking experience! Remember to bookmark this page so you can keep up with conference developments as plans unfold.

We have chosen the word "Kaleidoscope" as the theme for the 1997 annual meeting because we believe it is an especially apt metaphor for the environment of health sciences libraries as we approach the 21st Century. A Kaleidoscope exhibits:
"Endless variety of forms"
"A variegated changing pattern or scene"
"A succession of changing phases or actions"
"Infinite variety"
