{"id":5,"date":"2022-09-29T16:06:50","date_gmt":"2022-09-29T16:06:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.lib.uiowa.edu\/acquisitions\/?page_id=5"},"modified":"2024-09-23T16:12:36","modified_gmt":"2024-09-23T16:12:36","slug":"home","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.lib.uiowa.edu\/acquisitions\/","title":{"rendered":"UI Libraries Acquisitions"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The Acquisitions Department<\/strong> purchases resources in all formats for the University Libraries in support of our mission to build and maintain collections that meet current and future teaching and research needs.<\/p>\n<p>We work closely with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lib.uiowa.edu\/collections\/\">Collections Management<\/a>, Finance, as well as other library units to facilitate and expedite the acquisition of resources and the processing of payments. We exercise fiscal and ethical responsibility.
