Funder Requirements
Funders regularly review and update their requirements and guidance. To be assured of the most up-to-date information, review your funding opportunity announcement (FOA) and the funder web site. The FOA may include requirements that supersede broader guidance by the agency.
NIH
See the NIH Statement on Sharing Research Data. NIH has also outlined Key Elements to Consider in Preparing a Data Sharing Plan.
NSF
Review the funding opportunity announcement for guidance and requirements, which may supersede increasingly broader and more general guidance at higher levels of a funding agency. Funding opportunity announcement > Program guidance > Division or Office guidance > Directorate guidance > Proposal & Award Policies & Procedures Guide
NSF Requirements by Directorate, Office, Division, Program or other NSF unit.
