The Bambu Studio software to prepare files for printing is available on the computer next to the 3D Printers. It is the responsibility of the user to monitor the print for errors &#8211; staff do not regularly monitor for issues but may stop a print if something is reported.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Full details on the Bambu Labs P1S can be <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lib.uiowa.edu\/eng\/creative-space\/prototyping\/\">found on the Prototyping page.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Engineering Design and Fabrication<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Engineering Design and Fabrication is the College of Engineering\u2019s one-stop destination for hands-on innovation. Combining expert machining and electronics services, we empower students, faculty, and researchers to design, prototype, and build with confidence \u2014 using industry-grade tools, expert guidance, and a collaborative, safety-first environment.<\/p>\n<p>They offer consumer\u2011grade 3D printing services for all University of Iowa faculty, staff, and students at a rate of $0.20 per gram. Available filament colors include black, white, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, beige, and gray.<br \/>\nThis service is intended for print\u2011ready models. Files are printed as submitted and are not edited. If you need modifications, troubleshooting, or design assistance, please use the Advanced 3D Printing service.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/engineering.uiowa.edu\/form\/3d-printing\">Submit files for 3D Printing<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The next level of service is Advanced 3D Printing, which uses commercial\u2011grade 3D printers to produce higher\u2011quality and more complex parts. This service optimizes resolution, slicing, materials, and build orientation to meet advanced printing needs.
