This exhibition illuminates the important relationship between man and dog that is evident in virtually every culture in history. From ancient times through today, the complex nature of this experience is revealed in art, literature and music. We see the dog as ally to the hunter, the farmer and the sportsman, as well as companion, pet and hero. A bibliography of materials included in the exhibition follow:<\/p>\n
