You may renew journals or other items with short-term loans online. You can also see the status of recalls here.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/search.lib.uiowa.edu\/primo_library\/libweb\/action\/myAccountMenu.do?vid=01IOWA\">Renew loans <\/a><\/strong>online or by calling the library at 335-9150.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Request delivery<\/strong> of materials to your campus or VA office or another library by clicking the &#8220;request delivery&#8221; button in the catalog or ask for help at a service desk.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Request pickup of materials at the Hardin Library<\/strong> by clicking the &#8220;request delivery&#8221; button in the catalog or ask for help at a service desk. Items available in the collection will be ready for pickup the next business day.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Faculty Authorization\/Proxy<\/strong><br \/>\nFaculty members may authorize assistants or other staff to check out materials for them. Send an E-mail to <a href=\"mailto:lib-hardin-circ@uiowa.edu\">lib-hardin-circ@uiowa.edu<\/a> from your University of Iowa email account requesting proxy privileges. Please include your UI ID number and the name and UI ID number of the proxy.
