HUNTER, MARY ANKENY<\/a> (1870-19xx). Autobiographical sketch. Secretary, vice-president, and then president of the Iowa Suffrage Memorial Commission in the 1920s and 1930s. Hunter was also an activist for world peace, a prohibitionist, and worked for the Red Cross during World War I.<\/p>\n
