Consultations<\/h3>\n

The Research Commons is open to consultations year-round. A consultation is scheduled as a 1-hour meeting with a Research Commons staff member to help you address limited-scope activities such as:<\/p>\n

\u2022 Troubleshooting a minor technical issue<\/p>\n

\u2022 Providing a basic overview of a software or digital tool<\/p>\n

\u2022 Discussing strategies for writing a grant or fellowship application<\/p>\n

\u2022 Recommending campus partners & other resources to provide further support<\/p>\n

REQUEST A CONSULTATION<\/a><\/p>\n

Project Proposals<\/h3>\n

Project proposals are evaluated by Research Commons staff for potential collaborative partnership. Selected projects are typically complex, grant-funded, and highly-visible, scoped for approximately six months of coordinated work.<\/p>\n

Faculty, graduate students, undergraduate students, research centers, and community members are welcome to apply. The number of selected projects will vary based on staff capacity.<\/p>\n

New project proposals will be accepted during the following periods:<\/p>\n

Spring Proposal Cycle (for Fall Semester Project Execution)<\/h4>\n

\u2022 Project proposals will be accepted from Feb. 15 \u2013 March 15, 2027<\/p>\n

\u2022 If your proposed project is selected, you will be notified in May<\/p>\n

\u2022 Project Onboarding: June<\/p>\n

\u2022 Active Project Period: Fall Semester<\/p>\n

\u2022 Closeout & Next-Phase Planning: Late Fall \/ Early Winter<\/p>\n

Fall Proposal Cycle (for Spring Semester Project Execution)<\/h4>\n

\u2022 Project proposals accepted from Sept. 15 \u2013 Oct. 15, 2027<\/p>\n

\u2022 PIs of selected projects will be notified in December<\/p>\n

\u2022 Project Onboarding: January<\/p>\n

\u2022 Active Project Period: Spring Semester<\/p>\n

\u2022 Closeout & Next-Phase Planning: Late Spring \/ Early Summer<\/p>\n
