Web guidelines for content editors: Color and Typography

Use of the university gold is required as a design element in collegiate and primary central administration sites. The Libraries’ have incorporated this into our templates.

Fonts are defined in the style sheets associated with each site. Do not change fonts.

Not all users can distinguish between colors, so don’t use color to convey exclusive meaning. For example, avoid designing a form where “required fields are indicated by red type,” and avoid presenting non-underlined links, identifiable by color only, within a body of text.
