A digital bookplate is a meaningful way to recognize and honor the generous gifts of our donors. The digital bookplate also provides a means for the University of Iowa Staff Council to memorialize UI staff members who have passed away while employed at the University.
Items added to the collection are given a digital bookplate recognizing the donor and the individual being honored. A link to the bookplate is added to the online catalog record allowing users to immediately see what resources have been generously given to maintain and expand the library’s collection. And, each title acquired with the gift is given a permanent link back to the donor’s bookplate.
